These pages are additional to the Home Page where the webmaster is Panikos himself. It is in the way of a tribute from a greatly impressed and grateful customer.
Please bear with me while I construct pages that may help other British customers both to first of all find the taverna, and then enjoy the extensive menu.
The taverna is simple in style, spotlessly clean and, in common with most of the other eating establishments in Paphos, meals are relatively modest in price.
Many visitors from the U.K. are still surprisingly conservative when it comes to their eating habits, however a study of the extensive menu will usually satisfy the most bland of tastes - Chicken & Chips anyone?
But that would be a shame; do try the extraordinary range of titbits that make up the Meze. The set Meze is a good bet for your first visit, and thereafter, on another occasion, you can make your own choice from the range of both hot and cold varieties as it is inevitable that you should prefer some more than others.
A particular feature is the splendid hot 'village' bread that comes in generous proportions at the start of your meal, but don't overdo it as you will have no appetite for what follows.
And while we are on the 'village' theme, partake of the 'village' wine. Served loose, this is a very young wine and less than full bodied but has a great fruity taste, my own favourite being the dry red. An excellent accompaniment to your food selection.
If you prefer, there is a fairly extensive wine list.
A very pleasant evening at the Apomero rarely exceeds the cost of 25 Euros per head (as of 2010).
